MowRo Robot Mower Care and Maintenance

As a robot mower owner, you know these machines require much less maintenance than traditional lawnmowers. Nonetheless, there are several things you can do to ensure your device is in tip-top shape all the time.

Here are tips to care for your mower:

Cleaning the Robot Mower

Regularly lift the front and rear covers of your robot mower to remove any debris, grass clippings, and dust that may have collected. You can use a soft brush, vacuum, or damp cloth. Be careful when handling the blade disc and blades while cleaning the bottom side of the mower.

Regular cleaning can help prevent grass clippings from building up around the wheels, cutting mechanism, and other moving parts. Your device's mobility and cutting performance will deteriorate if the clippings accumulate over time.

Cleaning the Docking Station

Keeping the docking station clean is essential so your robot mower can dock and charge properly. Remove dirt, grass, and other debris from the base plate regularly. You can use a soft brush or cloth to remove any build-up.

Blade Replacement

You can turn over the blades on your MowRo Robot Mower once before needing to be replaced. Replacement is indicated when grass shows prominent white edges after cutting, or the mower makes excessive vibration noise.

To replace the blades, unscrew the three retaining screws and then remove and replace all three blades. Be sure to screw the retaining screws back in tightly, so the blades are securely attached.

Storage

Store your mower in a dry, frost-free area to preserve the life of your robot mower's battery. You should also cover the ends of the boundary wire with electrical tape.

Your robot mower will provide years of trouble-free service with proper care and maintenance.
